The Kingdom of God brings Heaven’s love and solutions into every sphere of society. Salvation brings people into the Kingdom but it does not encompass the Kingdom. Miracles, signs, and wonders are expressions of the Kingdom but they are not the Kingdom. Doctrine describes the Kingdom but it is not the Kingdom. We are seeking first the Kingdom of God … which looks like His will being done on earth as it is in Heaven!

We’ve been charged with mobilizing ministers, not gathering for Sunday service. We gather for Sunday service to fellowship and love on each other, build each other up, and mobilize for Monday - Saturday. The church serves the Kingdom, not the other way around - doing His will by bringing heaven to earth.

We not only seek first the Kingdom, but we also seek first HIS righteousness, not self-righteousness. There is no other name under Heaven that liberates than Jesus Christ! His work on the cross was a FULL work. It is finished! As a believer you can enter His rest! Condemnation can stop in your life now. It is not by your obedience, your works, or your performance. No it, is by grace. Grace alone. This is the true gospel!

All ministry flows out of intimacy. It is our day-to-day, moment-to-moment connection to the Vine that makes us fruitful. This is why truly knowing our identity in Christ is so essential - because condemnation causes us to believe we are separated from the Vine. Ministry = your connection with the Father in context. If you are connected, you are fruitful. Therefore everywhere you go gets to enjoy Heavenly fruit and be ministered to naturally! 

Society has moved from centralized taxi companies to Uber. We’ve moved from only hotel chains to Air B&B. Decentralization is not secular; it is part of a move of God. The body of Christ has largely thought of full time employees as being the ministers, but like Uber, the body of Christ is moving towards realizing everyone with a car, a desire to drive, and the app can minister - now! We are not trying to make a church-full of ministries. We are endeavoring to have a church-full of ministers!

We are hungry for testimonies of His goodness expressed in tangible ways! From young children to seasoned adults we share and celebrate stories of breakthrough: physical healings, financial miracles, deliverance, restored families, demonstrations of extreme favor, etc. God’s goodness is not philosophical; it is actual. The blood of Jesus plus the word of our testimony overcomes the enemy … and shouts “this is how good my God is!” 

Much of what we’ve seen as relationship within church has been largely structural and functional, but it’s depth of relationship, not complexity of structure that holds us together. As ministry is increasingly decentralized, core values and deep relationships are the keys to moving together as one. Eternal life is to know Him; relationship has ETERNAL value. We prioritize meals together, lingering in conversation, and impromptu get-togethers. Knowing each other deeply is not a tool. It is a goal and a JOY!

We can differ without being defiant because we operate in love. A humble heart is a healthy heart. Humility is placing our identity solely in what God has said about us (our identity in Christ). Too often there are factions, dissensions, etc. but as Paul told the Corinthians there is no place for those in church. Offense is love’s greatest enemy so we proactively choose love - endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is no lack in Heaven. Freely we receive and freely we give. He is a God of excellence and our generosity is an expression of His excellence.
As we are generous in our finances, time and other resources it enables us to think of others before ourselves and operate out of a mindset of abundance - and not lack.
